Martha Ann Stodghill

Martha Ann Stodghill, 65, of Owensboro, passed away on January 10, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Livermore, Kentucky to William Bennett Taylor and Eva Jane Tichenor Taylor Bartlett Livers.

Martha Ann retired from Wal-Mart after 27 years of faithful service. She was a past member of Sweeney Street Missionary Baptist Church. Martha Ann enjoyed history, knitting, crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Wayne Lashbrook; her father, William B. Taylor; a grandson, Nathaniel Bryant; and a brother, Douglass Taylor.

Martha Ann is survived by her husband of 21 years, Greg Stodghill; daughters, Tammi Robertson Payne (Steve) and Georgia Bryant; a son, Shannon Lashbrook (Terrye); her mother, Eva Jane Tichenor Taylor Bartlett Livers of Owensboro; grandchildren, Brandi Robertson, Shanna Lashbrook, Patrick Adams, Laci Lashbrook, Macee Bryant, Christian, Nikolas and Alyssa Lashbrook; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Suzy Fisher (Calvin) of Ohio County and Lisa Williams (Sam) of Owensboro; a niece, Shawna Viramontes of Los Angeles, CA; another niece; and two nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 13 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday after 10 AM at the funeral home.
