Martha Louise Rolley

Martha Louise "Mamaw" Rolley, 80, of 817 Fargo Street, Owensboro, died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was a native of Muhlenberg County, born to the late Enos and Ethel (Dexter) Gossett. She retired from General Electric and then worked for MPD. She was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church since 1963, and cared for the church marquis for many years. She loved cooking, and making homemade preserves and jams. Everyone loved her and her smile.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years; Reby G. Rolley, a son; Glenn (Kathy ) Rolley, daughter; Brenda (Gary) Berry, two step daughters; Pat (Rodney) Cunningham, and Linda Rolley, all of Owensboro, five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and a brother; Eugene Gossett of Nashville, TN.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m.Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Prater officiating. Graveside services will at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Lee Hill Cemetery, Highway 189 South, Greenville, Kentucky. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and also after 9 a.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Ridgewood Baptist Church.
