Martha Jennings Puckett

Martha Jennings Puckett, 67, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro to the late Fred and Mattie Kelly Murphy.

Before retirement Martha worked in human resources at Daviess County Hospital (now Owensboro Health) for more than twenty years. She was also employed by J's Liquor for more than twenty-five years. Martha was an animal lover who enjoyed flowers and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Kenny Puckett; sons, Brett Jennings, Brian Jennings and his wife, Dana, both of Owensboro; step-daughters, Kelli Puckett, Stacy Brown and her husband, Curt, both of Owensboro and Lisa Dickinson and her husband, James of Texas; grandchildren, Lindsey Jennings, Courtney Smeathers, Skylar, Brayden and Sophey Jennings; nine step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 12 – 2 PM on Tuesday, December 29 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
