Martha Jane Pack

Martha Pack, 87 of Owensboro, KY (formerly of Logan County, WV) passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Johnson, County, KY on July 30, 1926 to the late Alex Blevins and Mary Kimbler Blevins. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could. Martha's hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking. She was a fabulous cook who enjoyed teaching her granddaughters. She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rennie Pack, son David Pack, step-daughter, Jessie Bradley and grandson, William Ross Smith. She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church.
Surviving are her sons, Chester (Elaine) and Kenneth (Pearlie) of Owensboro, Robert (Tonya) of Lexington, NC, Richard (Pamela) of Lebanon, TN and stepson Fred of Huntington, WV; Daughters, Freda Smith (Bill) of Kansas City, KS, Carolyn Crawford (Jeff) and Joann Pack of Owensboro, and stepdaughter Patty Stollings (Larry) of Barboursville, WV; two sisters, Sue (Bob) Dyer of Tuscumbia, AL and Ruth (Earl) Eastridge of Killen, AL; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday October 6th, 2013 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville, WV. Visitation will be on Tuesday will be from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
