Martha Louise Manaway, 77, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the Owensboro Medial Health System. The Daviess County native was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal faith. A son, Edward Manaway, Jr. in 1960, a sister, Nelda Faye Markaman, and two brothers, Jimmy Rowan and Jackie Rowan preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward Lawrence Manaway; a son, Griffin Manaway of Owensboro; four daughters, Shirley Ann Taylor and Darlene Morris both of Owensboro, Patricia Strueh, of Gibson County, IN, and April Sue Henderson of Philpot; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Bartlett Rowan of Daviess County, Tony Rowan of Maceo; and Ronald Rowan of Owensboro, three sisters, Rebecca Ford of Oklahoma, Betty Alice Shock of Owensboro and Phyllis Embry, both of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Brushy Fork Cemetery.
