Martha Jean Jones

Martha Jean Jones, 79, of 156 Hummingbird Loop, East, formerly of 4938 Honeysuckle Ln., passed away on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Owensboro medical Health System. She was born on July 1, 1928 in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Richard Thomas and Catherine Johnson Hays. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to dance when she was younger. She was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R. C. Jones on Feb. 15, 2006, her daughter, Pamela A. Clark on Jan. 5, 2007, two sisters, Mary Rushing and Lyda Hagelstein, and two brothers, Charles Henry Hays and Richard Thomas Hays, Jr.

Surviving is a daughter, Sheila Hagan and her husband Gary of Owensboro, two sons, Mike Jones and wife Deborah of Owensboro and Steve Jones of Franklin, Ky., two sisters, Teresa Henderson and Lucille Strong, both of Owensboro, 10 grandchildren, Pat Thompson and wife Mary, Robbie Thompson and wife Lori, Jeremy Jones and wife Bobbie, Sonya Evans and husband Robbie, Stephanie McCosh and Nick McCosh, Josh Clark and wife Heather, and Chadd Clark and wife Leigh, all of Owensboro, Joey Curtis and wife Krissy of Ocala, Fl., and Shane Jones of Franklin, 17 great grandchildren, Ashlee Cox, Celsey and Raigen Thompson, Joey, Cory, and Ashlyn Curtis, Michael, Jonathan, and Courtney Jones, Cody Wayne Johnson, Austin Jones, Cody and Cory Evans, Caleb and Braxton Clark, and Tommy and Taylor Ann Clark,

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 27 at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 7:00 P.M.Wednesday at the funeral home
