Martha M. Johnson

Martha M. Johnson, 81, of Pleasant Ridge, died Monday, November 11, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital surrounded by all her family. She was born on May 19, 1932 in Ohio Co to the late Thomas and Ozena Martin. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked at General Electric and at Ohio Co. High School for a number of years.She was also preceded in death by her husband Leo "Bud" Johnson, four sisters, Louise Whitehouse, Mary Howe, Berna Dean Allen, and Dorthy Grady, and a brother, Darrell Whitehouse.

She is survived by her children, Bob (Linda) Johnson of St. Clair Shores, MI and Cindy (Tony) Anthony of Pea Ridge, Ark., six grandchildren, Eric, Chris, and Melissa Johnson, Jase Sharp, and Jennifer and Jessica Anthony, a great grandson, Bobby Leo Johnson, a sister, Frances Whitehouse of Owensboro, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, November 14, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Bells Run Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
