Martha Naomi Henry

Martha Naomi Henry, 93, of Owensboro, KY, passed away March 6, 2018, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born June 29, 1924 in Maceo to the late Samuel and Mary Jane Hartley Roberts. Naomi was a devout Catholic and a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, where she was a eucharistic minister. She retired from General Electric in 1985 after 36 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, James Earl Henry; foster sons, Byron and Bill Henderson; sister, Lura Payne; and brothers, Lee, Robert, Edward, and Sam Roberts.

Naomi is survived by her daughter, Teresa Henry; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10am Saturday, March 10 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm Friday, with prayers at 6 pm, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. There will also be visitation Saturday after 9 am at the church. Fr. Mike Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
