Mark Steven "Steve" Wardrip

Mark Steven "Steve" Wardrip, 65, of Owensboro, KY, passed away January 13, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 25, 1952 to Milton and Wilma Gough Wardrip. Steve was a dreamer who loved to create, whether it be music on his bass guitar, writing, or building things. He was adventurous and enjoyed traveling, his favorite destination being Flagler Beach, FL. Steve was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his companion of twenty-eight years, Susan Meacham; son, Josh (Nikki) Wardrip and their daughter, Olivia, of Pittsburgh, PA; mother, Wilma Wardrip, of Owensboro; sisters, Amy Lanham, of Owensboro, Dayle Hammond, of Albany, OR, Gayle (Jim) Daniels, of Jefferson, OR, Dawn (Dewayne) Young, of Owensboro; brother, Scott (Leslie) Wardrip, of Owensboro; step-children, James (Janet) Meacham, of Hudson, FL, Elizabeth (Robert) Pugh, of Owensboro, Johnny (Elisa) Meacham, of Port Richey, FL; eight step-grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be 4pm Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation beginning at 12pm. Bro. Randy Stallings will be officiating.
