Mark Anthony Stallings

July 18, 1961 — February 4, 2013

Mark Anthony Stallings, 51, of Owensboro, passed away on February 4, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro to the late Joseph Victor Stallings, Sr. and Emma Kathleen (Severs) Stallings.

Mark proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard and attended Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church.

He worked for many years as an auto mechanic before becoming disabled in 2003. Mark enjoyed riding motorcycles and cooking, especially grilling, but most of his life revolved around time with family. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, just hanging out and doing "kid's stuff". He will be missed by many.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Frances Yvonne Stallings and a brother, Joseph Victor Stallings, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carlinia; five children, Mark Stallings, Jr., Nathan Frashure, Pricilla Tatum, Nicholas Frashure and Jarrett Roberts, all of Owensboro; 11 grandchildren; 7 siblings, Deborah Glenn, WaNell Lanham, Sandee Glenn, Bonnie Jones, all of Owensboro, Rhonda Davis of Phoenix, AZ, Frank and Sam Stallings, both of Owensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Thursday, February 7 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Fr. Carl McCarthy will officiate. Private burial at Rosehill Cemetery will be held at a later date. Visitation will be on Thursday after 11 AM at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family of Mark Stallings.
