Mark Lynn Lewis

Mark Lynn Lewis, 56, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on December 13, 1969, to James Robert Lewis and Vicky Cox. Mark was a 1986 graduate of Apollo High School and worked for himself as a carpenter. Outside of work he really enjoyed playing the guitar and being with his Schnauzer, Jazzy.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his father, James Lewis.

Mark is survived by his mother, Vicki Cox; brothers, Rodney, James, Jamie, and Jeremy; and his sisters, Brescia and Sabra.

A memorial service for Mark will be held at 2 p.m. Friday August 28, 2026, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial to follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday August 28, 2026, from 12 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
