Mark Anthony Fogle, 59, of Owensboro was surrounded by his brothers and sisters as he peacefully went into his mom's waiting arms in heaven after a brief acute illness on February 4, 2017. Mark was born September 29, 1957 in Daviess County to the late Franklin Edward Fogle and Mary Lucille Hayden Fogle Wright. With a heart of gold, he would help anyone at any time. He enjoyed yard work and caring for plants around the house – his green thumb made all things thrive. He also took pride in the upkeep of his truck. Mark had a love for UK basketball, Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, and watching movies, especially Westerns. Mark was an incredibly dedicated employee of Mayfair Pharmacy and most recently of Danhauer Pharmacy.
He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Gilbert Wright; step-brother, James Wright; and brother-in-law, Glenn Merritt.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters; Steve Fogle (Judy), Dave Fogle (Michelle), Marianne Fogle Kamuf (Mike), Cathy Fogle Bayles and Teresa Fogle Merritt; nieces and nephews, Derek Fogle (Danielle), Chad Fogle, Brandon Fogle (Lauren), Jonathan Fogle, Alyssa Fogle, Jeremy Kamuf (Jenny), Amy Kamuf King, Christy Bayles Redfern (Taylor), Matt Bayles (Audrey), and Kelly Merritt Midkiff (Jeremy); great-nieces and nephews, Ella Fogle, Solange, Ava and Amelia Kamuf, Cooper and Hayden Redfern, Jace and Everlee Bayles, Keagyn Rhinerson, Norah and Max Midkiff; and loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Martin Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in St. Peter's Church Cemetery.
