Marjorie A, Kirkland Nave, 75, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, August 26 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation. She was born in Daviess County to the late Kenneth C. and Margaret D. Kirkland and was a1968 graduate of Owensboro High School. Part of her family lives in England and she had fond memories of often visiting there as a child.

She enjoyed a simple lifestyle that included time in nature. Marjorie lived in several western states over the course of many years and part of her experience included life in a log cabin with goats and chickens on hand. She was a very artistic person who loved photography, creating arts and crafts, basket weaving and crocheting.

Marjorie was preceded in death by three sisters.

Marjorie is survived by her son, W. Paul Edmunds (Amy Law) of Owensboro; a brother, Kenneth Kirkland of Longview, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, including Brad Reynolds and his wife, Susan.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, September 5. Friends may visit for the hour prior to the service at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
