Marjorie M. Goff

Marjorie Goff, 81, of Owensboro, graduated to her heavenly home, Friday, January 19, 2007, at her residence. She was born August 4, 1925 to Arlie and Annie Day Midkiff in Ohio County. During WW II she worked at Republic Aviation. She was a charter member of Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Ohio County. She retired from Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital after 26 years of service and her favorite hobby was quilting and traveling with her grandchildren. She enjoyed being with her family and all of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Paul Samuel Goff on January 22, 1999; her brother, Willard Midkiff and a sister, Helen Reed.

Survivors include her son, Larry Goff and his wife, Jeannie; her daughters, Angela Hill and Paula Wedding and her husband, Bud, all of Owensboro; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Hendrix of Masonville and Lois Pettingil of Phoenix, AZ.

Services will be 11:30 AM Monday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
