Marjorie McDaniel Adams, 86, of Owensboro, died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab Center. She was a native of Hancock County, born to the late Harvey and Helen (Rice ) McDaniel. Marjorie had worked at Anderson's, and General Electric and retired from the Executive Inn Food Service. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, and liked bird watching, gardening, camping, fishing and square dancing with her husband Edward. She loved her dog Coco. Her husband, Edward preceded her in death in 1985 as well as two brothers, Robert and William McDaniel.
Surving are her children, Ronald Adams of Philpot, Rickey (Susan) Adams, Emogene Boring and Janice Gafford , all of Owensboro, ten grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rick Grover officiating. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
