Marion Gene Luttrell, 72, of Panther, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1938 in McLean Co., Ky. to the late Roy and Altha Howard Luttrell. He was a member of the Who So Ever Will Mission Church and was retired as a truck driver for Miles Farms. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the North American Fishing and Hunting Clubs. He loved his cat, Blackie and working with his lawn service.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Beverly Luttrell, two sons, Marion E. "Junior" Luttrell, Jr. and Louis Luttrell, both of Panther, two daughters, Elaine Rafferty of Owensboro and Shirley Ann Mehlbauer of Falls of Rough, Ky., five stepdaughters, Tammy Mayes of McLean Co., Becky Brooks and Patricia Luck, both of Owensboro, Sherry Jackson of Lexington, and Tamie Shelton of Panther, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers, Alton Luttrell of Hartford and Louis Luttrell of Thruston, a special nephew, Wayne Luttrell of Owensboro, and several more nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 11, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
