Marion Walter Kruger, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on December 24, 1919, in Daviess County to the late Charles and Margaret Kruger.
Marion served in the Navy during WWII and had worked at Western Kentucky Gas for 36 years where he retired as a supervisor. Marion took great pride in making sure his yard and garden were always well manicured. He and his wife enjoyed riding their motorcycles for many years. He was also well known all over town for riding his bicycle, when all was said and done his bicycle had 20,000 miles on it.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Owen Randall and Chester Hubert Kruger.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Clara Warden Stewart Kruger; brother, Harold Vincent Kruger of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00p.m. at the Rosehill Cemetery Chapel with interment following at Rosehill Cemetery.
Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
