Marilyn Kay Payne Rose, 60, of 4476 Scotty Lane died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at her home. Born in Daviess County, a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Gomer Payne, she was a retired nurse, having been associated with Dr. Albert Mercer at the Green River Heart Institute. Mrs. Rose was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, the Evansville Kennel Club, and bred and loved English Springer spaniels. A son, Robert Kline, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, David S. Rose; four sons, Brandon Rose and Coby Rose of Owensboro, John Kline of Port Charlotte, FL, and Todd Rose of Paducah; a daughter, Kelly Kline of San Diego, CA, three grandchildren; and two sisters, Joan Bamberger of Owensboro and Patsy Graf of Rockport.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from until 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, where prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
