Marilyn Ann Jewell

Marilyn Ann Jewell, 72, of 9125 Cummings Road, St. Joseph, died Thursday, February 21, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born September 19, 1935 to the late Maloney and Eulema Clark Blandford in St. Joseph. She retired as a Nurses Aid at the Motherhouse at Mount St. Joseph. She was a member of The Curdsville Baptist Church, and she loved working in her flower garden, cooking and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Deloit Jewell on September 11, 2003.

Survivors include her sons, Allen (Sharon) Ward of Curdsville, and Rick Ward of St. Joseph; five grandchildren, Melanie (Kevin) Clark of St. Joseph, Beckey (Delbert) Falloway of Owensboro, Candice (Scottie) Crabtree of Owensboro, Brandon Ward of Curdsville, and Cynthia Ward of Owensboro; four great-grandchildren, Olivia Clark, Westin Robertson Clark, Braxton Crabtree and Ava Falloway; three brothers, Leon (Jeanette) Blandford of Shelbyville, IL, Richard (Nancy) Blandford of St. Joseph, and Jimmy Dale (Donna) Blandford, of Friendly Village; three nephews and three nieces.

Private services will be at Glenn Funeral Home with private burial.
