Marie Woodward

Marie Woodward, 90, passed away February 3, 2018, at Woodlands of Hamilton Assisted Living Center in Hamilton, OH. She was born April 3, 1927 in Warren County, KY to the late Charlie and Lola Lawrence East. Marie was a member of First Church of Nazarene, and this was her first priority, along her with family. She enjoyed crafting and sewing and was a talented oil painter and quilter.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David D. Woodward Sr; sisters, Beatrice Garman, Mazie Gillispie, and Lois Beckham; and brothers, Lindsey and Wallace East.

She is survived by her daughter, Henrietta (Joe) Schweizer, of Rockport, IN; sons, David (Shirley) Woodward Jr., of Covington, KY, Mike (Jane) Woodward, of Hamilton, OH, and Patrick (Donna) Woodward, of Booneville, IN; sisters, Hazel Davis of Park City, KY, Rose Hulsey, of Bowling Green, Charlene Smith, of Indianapolis, IN, and Patricia McCombs, of Brownsville, KY; grandchildren, David, Joseph, Daniel, Ricky, Bethe, Jessica, Isaac, Samuel, Ariel, and Hannah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be 10am Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Bret Cieslak officiating. Visitation will begin at 9am. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
