Marie Conway Aubrey

Marie Conway Aubrey, 93, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Queens, New York to the late Frank Petrocelli and Antionette Cifone.

Marie retired from General Electric after more than 35 years of service. She attended Blessed Mother Catholic Church when able. She was a past member of Maceo Methodist Church. She attended there years ago with her husband, James Aubrey. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ensor Lodge # 104. Marie enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She was a kind person and was known to use her skill to make gifts for people, including quilts for Hadi Shriner Children's Hospital patients in Cincinnati.

Marie was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Conway in 1973; her second husband, James Aubrey in 1994; her parents; a sister; and five brothers.

She is survived by a son, Eric Conway (Jill) of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The funeral mass will be held at Blessed Mother Catholic Church on Monday, November 19 at 11:00 AM . Fr. John Meredith will officiate. Entombment will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday after 9:30 AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
