Marian Fay Cooper Vance

Mrs. Marian Fay Cooper Vance, 81, formerly of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, December 03, 2009, in Crestview, FL. She was born June 23, 1928 in Lewisport, KY, and had lived in Okaloosa County, FL for the past 24 years. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and the Woman's Auxiliary of the DAV. She had been a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church when she lived in Owensboro.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Christian Wathen.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Wesley Vance: a son, Karlton Wesley (Irene) Vance, her daughters, Janice Ann Halstead, Syglendia Lou (Ray) Neenan, Patricia Lynn (Bascom) Grant, Kandies Kay (Gary) Miller, and Gwendlyn Lee (Glenn) Midkiff; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services in Florida will be Saturday, December 5, 2009. Services in Owensboro will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 370 W. Redstone Ave., Crestview, FL 32536.
