Margie Louise Henry Sutherland

Margie Louise Henry Sutherland, 75, of Owensboro, formerly of Lee Manor, passed away on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on January 17, 1935 in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Roy Monroe and Dora Agnes Egan Henry. She was a homemaker and member of Bellevue Baptist Church and the Lee Manor Society Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, reading, and was an animal lover. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Davy Siddons on November 10, 1991 and two sisters, Gertrude Baker on Sept. 13, 2003 and Corrine Henry.

Surviving are her son, Joseph "Joey" Sutherland, Jr. of Hermitage, TN, four daughters, Sharon (Lon) Steinbeck of Owensboro, Dora (Don) Hulsey of Utica, Therese' (Ric) Norris of Hermitage, TN, and Annette (Gary) Glover of Owensboro, five grandchildren, Jennifer Siddons of Owensboro, Terry Cook of Owensboro, Josh Cook of Nashville, TN, Chantae Hulsey of Utica, and Jody (Sarah) Hulsey of Owensboro, seven great grandchildren, Isaiah Siddons, Bradley and Keaton Davis, Jordan and Whitney Cook, Caitlin Smith, and Winston Hulsey, and a sister, Mary Lois Sutherland of Owensboro.

Margie's wishes were to be cremated and a Celebration of her Life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 22, in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
