Margie Maglinger

Margie Maglinger, 63, of Owensboro, passed away December 12, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Margie was born in Daviess County, on April 8, 1955, to the late Richard and Edith Alvey Hurm. She loved all animals, enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing, listening to music, and ceramics. Margie was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and enjoyed going to the picnics there.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Maglinger Jr.; and a beloved four-legged friend, her boxer named Mercedes.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Bellwood and her husband, Rong; two sons, Brian and Corey Maglinger; two sisters, Leolla Sims and Deborah VanBussum; and a brother, Roger Hurm.

The memorial service for Mrs. Margie Maglinger will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father Pat Bittel officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
