Margie D. Greenlee

Margie D. Greenlee, 78, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, August 19 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Ms. Greenlee was born August 30, 1938 in Evansville to the late Carlyle and Elizabeth Baughn Greenlee. Margie served our country in the Navy and then served others as a nurse for 40 years. She enjoyed her dogs and cats as well as fishing and being outdoors and spending time with her family. She was a fun-loving person who earned the nickname "Spicy Quesadilla" by her family. Her friends out west affectionately called her "Bubba-Louie".

Ms. Greenlee also was preceded in death by her brother, William C. Greenlee.

Those left to cherish her memory include nephew, Kevin Greenlee and wife Jennefer of Owensboro; niece, Donna Campbell of Evansville; a great niece; many extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 26 and burial at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with Brother Barry Black officiating.
