Margery Jean Rivett

Mrs. Margery Jean Rivett, 68, of 2814 Allen Street, Owensboro, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born June 18, 1937, to the late George Robert and Margery Williams Glasgow, in Orange, NJ, and was raised in upstate New York. She was an US Air Force Veteran and was retired from Save-A-Lot. She had attended Community Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula J. Clare, who died in 1971.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Glen W. Rivett; three sons, Darryl R. Clare and his wife, Christy, of Taylor Mill, KY, David J. Clare of Bellview, KY, Philip S. Clare, and his wife, Alicia of Erlanger, KY; two step-sons, Greg W. and Timothy M. Rivett, both of Hammond, IN; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Clare and Geoffrey Philip Clare; one brother, Robert O. Glasgow and his wife, Debbie, of Owensboro; two nephews, Robert S. and Adam C. Glasgow; a friend, Donna M. Dennison of Owensboro.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in the Field of Honor in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
