Margaret Arlene Edge Wells

Margaret "Peggy" Arlene Edge Wells, 69, of Owensboro, passed away on September 29, 2014. She was born on December 31, 1944 to the late Vincent Birch and Alma Clark Hayden. Peggy was of the Catholic faith and a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. She worked at Taco Bell for 17 years. Peggy loved spending time with her family, gardening flowers and roses, playing cards, and playing with her dog Toby.

Peggy was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Larry Hayden; and first husband Harold Thaddeus Edge, Sr. "Hink".

Survivors include her husband of 6 years, Marvin Wells; sons, Harold (Lorri) Edge and Paul (Heather) Edge; daughters, Sandy (Jeff) Holcomb and Sonya (Rex) Bowen; step children, Angie Mattingly, Karen Wells Onstott, Marla Kay Wells, and Crystal Mayfield; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; brothers Vincent Hayden, Martin Hayden, and Sam Hayden.

Service will be 10am Thursday at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Wednesday and from 8:30 -9:30am Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
