Margaret Crowe Renfrow

Margaret Crowe Renfrow, 97, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Hermitage Health Care. Born January 24, 1913 in Ohio County, she was the daughter of the late E.C. and Pearl Hudson Crowe; was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed cooking, raising flowers, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by a son, Truman Earl Renfrow ; a sister, Ruth Crowe; brothers, Willard R. Crowe, James E. Crowe, and Rowland H. Crowe; a grandson, Wallace Gene Renfrow; a great-grandson, Joey Brown; and nephews, Gerald Renfrow and Glenn Renfrow.

Survivors include sons, Wallace (and Rita) Renfrow of Ft Worth, TX and Randall "Ronnie" Renfrow of Owensboro; nine grandchildren, Brenda (and Jerry) Brown and Barbara Wilson (Kent Benson) of Owensboro, Karen (and Rob) Thomas of Livingston, TX, Patti Foreman and Phillip Renfrow of Ft. Worth, TX, Kelly (and Woody) Woods, Tina Pinkston, Shannon Renfrow (John Pausha) , and Robert Renfrow all of Houston, TX, and 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Renfrow of Utica; a niece, Vicki Coates of Bowling Green; and nephews, Milford Renfrow of Louisville, Jerry ( and Emma) Crowe of Owensboro, Tom (and Barb) Crowe and Harold Crowe of Indianapolis.

Services are 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2010 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Dr. Glenn Sowards officiating followed by burial in New Bethel Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday. .
