Margaret Mitchell Purgeason

Margaret Mitchell Purgeason, , 93, formerly of Reed, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Carmel Home. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Mrs. Purgeason was preceded in death by her husband, David Louis Purgeason, on April 1, 1989.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Louis Purgeason (Doris) of Reed and Wayne Tutor Purgeason of Owensboro; her daughters, Lois Jane Owens (Al), Myra Carrico (Bill) both of Owensboro, and Connie Williams (Bill) of Reed; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Reed, KY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at ______ on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
