Margaret Buckman Nally

Margaret Buckman Nally, 89, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Nally was born September 20, 1927 in Uniontown, Kentucky to the late Leroy and Carman Waggener Buckman. Margaret was a fun-loving person and a jokester who loved music and singing. While never having children of her own, she was a "mother" to many, always ready to take care of others when needed.

Mrs. Nally was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Nally, in 1965; her brothers, Donald, Charles, and Larry Buckman all formerly of Grove Center, Kentucky.

Survivors include her remaining brother, James "Jim" Buckman and wife Marie of Atlanta; sister-in-law, Mary Beth Buckman of Henderson; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express warmest appreciation to Jane Clark and all the ladies who took special care of Margaret during her illness.

The service will be noon Saturday, January 7 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Ted Burke officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, Kentucky. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 and Saturday after 11:00 AM.
