Margaret Tinius Marret, 88, formerly of Owensboro, died Friday, February 27, 2004 at the River Bend Rehabilitation Center in Kuttawa, KY. The Breckinridge County native worked in retail clothing sales and then went to be dorm director at Indiana University, Ohio State University, University of Alabama, and started at the University of Kentucky. She did this until retirement. She was a former member of First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two sons and their wives, James O. and his wife Janice Marret of Palm Coast, FL and William H. and his wife Brenda Marret of Calvert City, KY; six grandchildren, William Gregory Marret of Knoxville, Tamara Hodges of Kuttawa, Melanie Belcher and Natalie Burton of Owensboro, Pamela Riley of Bowling Green and April Smith of Ormond Beach, FL; 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 1 P.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Monday and after 11 A.M.on Tuesday.
