Margaret Bobick Mantz

Margaret Bobick Mantz, 82, of 1818 Tamarack Road, Owensboro, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. Born in Beatty, Pa. on July 10, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John & Elizabeth Babyack Bobick.

Mrs. Mantz was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Catholic Church. Her husband, Charles ''Chick'' Mantz, died in 1983.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Safreed of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Kimberly Lloyd and Christopher Safreed both of Owensboro; a brother, Steve Bobick of New Kensington, Pa.; three sisters, Helen Swierczewski and Dorothy Madeja, both of New Kensington, and Elizabeth Martin of Greensburg, Pa.; and several nephews and nieces.

The funeral service for Mrs. Mantz will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Immaculate Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
