Margaret DeJarnette Lee

Margaret DeJarnette Lee, 77 of 2603 Baylor Place, Owensboro died Tuesday June 12, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born July 28, 1923 in Hancock County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Stewart DeJarnette and Katie Sue Newman DeJarnette.

Mrs. Lee retired from G. E. as a tester. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star # 46 and Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve # 105.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, James T. Jim Lee; two step-sons, Larry Lee and Ray Lee both of Owensboro; one step-daughter, Linda Shemwell of Owensboro; eight step-grandchildren; one brother, Marvin DeJarnette of Masonville; one sister, Katherine Stewarty Kennedy of Owensboro.

Funeral service for Mrs. Lee will be 2:30 Saturday June 16, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Bob Farmer. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday June 15, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
