Margaret Mary Fulkerson

Margaret Mary Wooldridge Fulkerson, 93, (formerly of Owensboro) passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Park Lane Care Center in Wentzville, MO. Born October 6, 1916 in Rome, KY, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Genrose Floyd Wooldridge; was a homemaker; and was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Mrs. Fulkerson enjoyed quilting, needle point, gardening, and traveling. However, her greatest joy was spending time with and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fulkerson, Sr. in 1988 and a son, Robert L. Fulkerson, Jr. in 2004.

Survivors include a daughter, Monica (Donald) Myers of Wentzville, MO; a son, Larry (Sue) Fulkerson of Marrietta, GA; grandchildren, Lisa Annette Carlisle, Lori Ann (Todd) Gulledge, Tania (Dave) Peters, Donald (Lisa) Myers, Jr., Julie (Greg) Hoff, and Tony (Gayla) Myers; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, William Wooldridge of Chrisney, IN; and sisters, Louise McLevaine of Owensboro, Helen Matheny and Betty Hack of Utica.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father John Meredith officiating followed by burial in St. Peter Cemetery in Stanley. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. .
