Margaret Lee Cox

Margaret Lee Cox, 75, of Owensboro died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Margaret was born May 1, 1935 in Lewisport, Kentucky to the late George and Mayme (Patterson) Roberts. She had worked at General Electric, Owensboro Cannery and the Executive Inn. She enjoyed playing guitar and singing, being with her family and friends, watching t.v. talking on the phone and drinking coffee. She married Audley Cox , June 30, 1950, and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2006, as well as siblings, David Roberts, Imogene Cooper, Mary Cooper and Martha Roberts.
Surviving is her son; Robert Clifton (Lori) Cox, daughters; Diane (Randall L. ) Hagan, Sherry Duncan, Victoria (Roger) Rhineburger and sisters; Hazel Marie Mattingly and Thelma Sue Cox, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Friday.
