Margaret Alsup

Margaret Alsup, 83, of 1618 East 20th Street Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 11, 2007 at Bon Harbor Nursing Home. Mrs. Alsup was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening, embroidering, reading, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. (1967) and Martha Cossler Morris (1996), and by her son, James L. Alsup (1989).

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James E. Alsup; her daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Ken Cross of Lakewood, Co, Nancy and Eugene Campbell of Lexington Park, MD and Carolyn and Bill Sturges of Owensboro; seven granddaughters, Kim Daniele, Kelley Griego, Kasey Cross, Kerri Cross, Rebecca Wood, Susan Campbell and Katie Sturges; one grandson, Samuel Sturges; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. and after 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
