Mamie L. Wright Mason

Mamie L. Wright Mason, 64, of 723 Danberry St., Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. and was a homemaker. She was a member of Garden Green Baptist Church and attended the Salvation Army where she was a Keenager. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and talking on the telephone to all her many friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stanley Wright in May, 1996 and Mary Emogene Cook Wright in Sept. 1999.

Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Donald E. Mason, two daughters and their husbands, Cheryle & Mike Farmer of Masonville, and Carol & Scott Goins of Owensboro, two sons and their wives, Darrell & Margie Mason of Masonville, and Travis & Angela Mason of Owensboro, three grandchildren, Sarah Mason, Jessica Mason, and Trenton Farmer, and a granddaughter that is expected in July, three sisters and their husbands, Mary Frances & Ellis Hall, Patty & Billy Smith, and Doris & Terry Sapp, all of Owensboro, three aunts, and several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 3, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
