Maggie Elizabeth "Liz" Jackson, 88, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. Mrs. Jackson was born in Hancock County, KY and was a member of Blackford Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alberta Hoskins Snyder.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughters, Patsy Cecil, Stella Boehman, and Judy Payne, all of Knottsville,, her sons, David Jackson of Whitesville and Jimmy Jackson of Knottsville; her sisters, Darlene Thomasson of Ensor and Mary Celie Shannon of Owensboro; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The service for Mrs. Jackson will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Blackford Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
