Mae McEntire Smith

Ms. Mae McEntire Smith age 102 passed away in Owensboro on November 9, 2015, Mae lived many years in Newman Kentucky, born on October 14, 1913 in Henderson Kentucky to the late William Albert and Mary (Duff) McEntire.

Mae was a member of Newman Baptist Church, and graduated from Spottsville High School.

Mae is preceded in death by her parents, son: Kenneth Smith in October 1951, sister: Hazel Donavan.

Mae is survived by her son: Jerry (Alice) Smith of Owensboro, granddaughter: Kelly (Larry) Pennington of Powderly, KY, grandson: Kenneth Smith and Ellen Hanson of Chicago, great grandchildren: Jackson Donovan and Michael Donovan of Powderly, special niece and nephew: Darry and Betty Cain of Owensboro, cousin: Betty McEntire Kreilein of Jasper, IN

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10am at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with visitation on Wednesday from 4pm - 8pm at the funeral home and after 9am Thursday.
