Madison Durham

Madison Durham, 31, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, May 20, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born September 4, 1993, Madison was a proud graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship with a minor in legal studies. Her educational background paved the way for her to become the owner of Pawstown, a venture that exemplified her passion for animals and her entrepreneurial spirit. Madison’s logical approach to challenges allowed her to nurture those around her, fostering an environment where others could thrive. She had an extraordinary ability to see the world from a different perspective, which enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. As the best friend to her mother, she shared a bond filled with love and support. Madison found great joy in spending time with her boys, a source of immense pride for her. Her love for them was evident in all she did, whether it was planning memorable parties or embarking on vacations to Disney World, which were treasured experiences that brought smiles to their faces. Madison’s passion for life, coupled with her ability to love hard, created a legacy that will not be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Herschell Lee Fulkerson; and great-grandmother, Eva LouEmma Stinnett.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Phillip Durham; sons, Phillip Eagle Durham and Elijah Hawk Durham; parents, William and Dana Goodlett; in-laws, Phillip Kay and Jane Anne Durham; brother, Michael Goodlett (Joy); sisters, Jenna Austin (Derek) and Hannah McDaniel (Corey); grandmother, Freida Stinnett Fulkerson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8th, from 2 PM until 4 PM at Reid's Orchard. Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
