M. Marie Moreland

M. Marie Moreland, 75, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at her home. The Henderson County, Kentucky native was a Realtor with Century 21, the former owner of The Little Old Gift Shop, and was formerly associated with Tapscott Floral Company. A charter member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church, Mrs. Moreland was also involved with the Home and Garden Club, the Owensboro Symphony Auxiliary, a board member of Preservation Alliance and a volunteer with the Owensboro Art Museum. Her husband, Wilbur Samuel Moreland, preceded her in death in March of this year.

Two daughters Lisa Epling and her husband David of Owensboro and Lynn Wirth and her husband Skip of Bowling Green; a son, Brad Moreland of Owensboro; a sister, Margaret Eans of Owensboro; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Wirth of Bowling Green, and several nieces and nephews survive her.

Services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m.
