M. Lee Ellison

M. Lee Ellison, 66, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but raised in Owensboro. Lee graduated from Owensboro High and the University of Kentucky before taking a job with AT&T. He was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and a passionate Marvel Comics fan.

Lee was preceded in death by grandparents, Cecil and Biney Ellison and Nolan and Edra Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jo Nell Ellison; his mother, Virginia Shelton; his father, Marvin Ray Ellison; a daughter, Cheryle Ann Ellison; granddaughter, Destini Anderson; sister, Connie Thomason; nieces, Lana Rubio and Leah Murray; a great-niece, Willa Rubio; step-daughter, Vicki Kittrell; step-granddaughters, Amy, Ashley, Angie and Alyssa; and two step-great-grandchildren.

The service and burial will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 21 at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
