Lynda B. Reynolds

Lynda B. Reynolds of Owensboro, KY, age 87, passed away on January 3, 2025 at the Heartford House in Owensboro.  She was born September 16, 1937 in Tell City, Indiana to Bernard and Vivian Blandford. She attended Tell City High School where she was active in band and cheerleading. Lynda moved to Owensboro in 1956 to work as a secretary at General Electric, a position she held until 1962, when she decided to focus on her most cherished role as a devoted wife and mother. In later years she worked in several local children's church programs.

Lynda was deeply devoted to her family and her faith. She treasured her time with loved ones, her connection to her Catholic church, and her favorite pastimes taking peaceful walks, sewing, reading, and baking.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Vincent P. Reynolds, her parents Bernard and Vivian Blandford of Tell City, Indiana, and her brother Dick Blandford of Evansville, Indiana. Survivors include her 3 children Lori (Pat) Elder, Jed (Lisha) Reynolds, and Kyle Reynolds of Owensboro. Her brother Bob (Donna) Blandford of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and sister in law Ann Blandford of Evansville, Indiana. 4 Grandchildren, Luke (Brittiany) Reynolds, Courtney Elder (Ben) Haaff, Austin Elder and Annie Elder (Seth) Sharp and 6 Great Grandchildren, Aliyah, Millie, Mason, Calvin, Selene and Sonja.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The Funeral Mass will begin 12:30 p.m. Monday, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

The family wishes expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Blessed Mother Catholic Church and HPC Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky.
