Lynda Jo Mulligan

Lynda Jo Mulligan, 71, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro to the late Joseph R. and Betty Drury.

Lynda was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School. As a student, she worked at the Big Dipper. She then spent most of her working years at South Central Bell and The Executive Inn. Lynda was a very giving person and of the Catholic faith. She was an excellent caregiver to her family and was known for spoiling her grandchildren. Lynda thoroughly enjoyed the countless hours spent going out to eat and shopping with her best friend and mother, Betty Drury.

She is survived by daughters, Tina Mulligan and Lindsay Thompson (Chris), both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Lou Thompson of Pittsburgh and Landon Thompson of Owensboro; a sister, Brenda Phelps of Owensboro; brothers, Joseph R. "Dickie" Drury, II and David L. Drury, both of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held Saturday, April 27 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
