Lyle Douglas Moses, 78, of St Louis (formerly of Owensboro) died Monday, February 4, 2002 at the Desperes Hospital in St Louis. The Springfield, Tenn. native was a retired Tool and Die Maker and had worked at Premium Allied Tool in Owensboro. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and an Associate member of the AMVETS.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Basham Moses in 1987.
He is survived by two sons, Ray Skaggs of Owenbsoro and Charles Skaggs of Gallatin, TN; four daughters, Verna Canary of Owensboro, Debbie Horne of Camdenton, MO, Judy Dunn of Hunington Beach, CA, and Evelyn Hines of Franklin, KY; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be Thursday, February 7, 2002 at the Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens with burial in the Garden of Devotion. Officiating at the service will be Dr. W. Glenn Sowards. There will be no visitation. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
