Lyla Lorraine Craig was cared for and loved by her parents, Phillip and Jessica Craig, for 33 weeks in her mother's womb. Precious baby Lyla went to heaven on Friday, June 10 at Deaconess Women's Hospital in Newburgh.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Fitzpatrick and team.
She also is survived by her brother, Bentley Garcia and sisters, Chloe Craig and Rosalynn Garcia; grandparents, Thomas "Papa" and Candria "Nana" Barton of Owensboro, Christopher "Papa" and Gina "Nana" Barner of Olympia, Washington, Phillip Craig I and Lisa O'Reilly of Kentucky; great grandparents, Clayborn and Donna Hunter and Connie Paul; aunts, Racheal Courtois of Kansas and Megan Nivens of Florida.
Lyla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emory and Effie Craig; great grandfather, Harry "Papa" Barner and great-great grandmother, Francis Brake.
The service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 15 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Kurt Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 to 2:00.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to The Family of Lyla Craig, 2960 Legion Park Dr. Owensboro, KY 42303.
