Lydia Rubel Zogg, 64, of Owensboro, passed away on July 12, 2024, to be with the Lord. She was born in Clarksville, TN, on October 16, 1959, to the late Charles Frank and Joan Sexton Rubel. Lydia had a passion for gardening, particularly cultivating flowers and succulents. When not tending to her garden, she could be found reading crime novels, cooking her favorite dishes, or decorating while listening to Elton John or Luke Bryan. Lydia retired from Federal Express and attended Century Christian Church. Above all, she cherished her daughter Mckenzi and treasured their time together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepson, Chuck Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Mckenzi Zogg and her fiancé Adam Mattingly; brother, Ryan Rubel; sister, Lisa Rubel Quinn; and niece, Jessica Durbin.
