Luversa Carver Kamuf, 89, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at her home. Born December 30, 1917 in Enterprise, IN, Mrs. Kamuf was the daughter of the late Walter and Goldie Duvall Carver; was a homemaker; member of St. Stephen Cathedral; and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Leo J. Kamuf, Sr. in 1995; a sister, Ruby Pierce in 2005; and a brother, Walter Carver.
Survivors include daughters Ann (and Norman) Cambron and Linda ( and James E. )Horn of Owensboro; a son, Leo Kamuf, Jr. of Owensboro; grandchildren, Norman E. Cambron, Debra Houston, Pamela Spurrier, Joe Cambron, Diane Williams, James Horn, Jr., Michelle Boarman, Troy Kamuf, Tina Smith, and Susan Carrol ; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, Lyman Pierce and Richard Kamuf..
Services are 11:30 A.M. Friday, January 12, 2007 at St. Ann Chapel, Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. at Glenn Funeral Home.
