LULA MAE MOSS FORT

Lula Mae Moss Fort, 88, on Friday, September 25, 2015 made the trip to God's rest. She was born August 5, 1927 in Daviess Co., daughter of the late A. O. Stanley Moss and Mary Alta Hulsey Moss. She was a devoted member of the Baptist church, Lewis Lane Baptist Church and then currently of First Baptist Church of Owensboro. She worked for many years in the Owensboro Public School System, but the main priorities of her life were God and her family, to which she devoted everything. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Moss.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilburn (Jack), and her four sons, Hilton (Sherri Sellers) Fort, Kenneth (Lyn Baskett) Fort, John, and Gregory (Karen Johnson) Fort. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ginny, Bob, Tara, Nathan, and Chelsea, four great grandchildren, Matthew, Chris, Brady, and Avery, and a brother, Herman Lee Moss.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
