Lula B Biggs, 84, of Owensboro (formerly of Utica and Henderson County) passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at the Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born December 15, 1922 in Daviess County, She was the daughter of the late Turner and Birdie Howard Robertson; a member of Parrish Avenue Baptist Church; a homemaker; and member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Biggs enjoyed gardening, playing cards, NASCAR, and singing and playing the guitar with family and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Herman Lindal Ezell in 2001.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Frederick Pat Biggs; daughters, Jane Andry of English, IN and Gail (and Scott) Haire of Maceo; grandchildren, Andy Haire and Jeff Haire; and great-grandchildren, Breanna Haire and Isabela Haire.
Services are 10 A.M. Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. Mitchell Donohue officiating followed by a private committal service at Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Wednesday with an Eastern Star service at 7 P.M. and after 8:30 A.M. Thursday.
